Who are Foxy Gaming
We're a small mom and pop store based in Chatswood Sydney. Mark started with Warhammer 40k back in the late 80s, when Rogue Trader first came out, but gradually moved on to other things. Then covid happened and Mark got back into the hobby with Indomitus and is now busy reliving his youth and making a mess.
Skye doesnt play any of the games herself, but was enchanted with how detailed the new GW miniatures are. Already looking for a new venture she suggested we open a GW shop, and here we are a year later stocking miniatures and learning how to build a website. It turns out she's better at painting minis than Mark, but you'll not mention that to him if you want a discount.
Foxy is our Ginger Tom who will supervise Mark for hours as they build and paint miniatures together. He will occasionally bless one of the minis with some authentic battle damage (teeth marks) or show his displeasure by swiping them onto the floor. His is a great and terrible majesty.
Why a tabletop gaming store?
Mark was already spending all of his monthly pocket money on minis and Skye thought it was worth the risk of trying to open a store. It also presented a fantastic opportunity to move almost all of his hobby parephanalia out of the apartment and into his own office space.
The idea behind the shop is we're only going to stock things we would want to buy ourselves. Products we like or are willing to take a chance on.
We're starting small, so bear with us and if there's something you want that we dont currently stock why not drop in for a chat. You may need to convince us to stock whatever it is, so be prepared to plead and beg shamelessly. If there's anything you want from Games Workshop, that we dont already have, we can order it and have it shipped to you asap.

What else can we do there?
Build and Paint
If you're in the area on a weekend, you can pop in and use our 'Pay to Paint' service. For a small fee (eg $8 for up to 10 minis) you'll have access to all of Marks paints, glue and tools. There's a small space where you can build and paint minis all day. Spaces are limited, so come early if you're interested.
You can also try out the sample USB airbrush if you want to prime your minis and Mark can walk you through some basic maintenance and repair steps.
Play Games
If you and a friend want a space to set up and play a game on a weekend, we have a table set aside just for you. There's no fee, just rock up, get set and have at it. You provide your armies and you're welcome to use our terrain.
If you need someone to play against, keep in mind that Mark has never played W40k or AoS, (he just builds, paints and collects) but he's learning how to play Kill Team so it should be an easy win for you.
If you're interested (not quick enough in saying no) Mark will be more than happy to run you through a vintage game of 90's Space Crusade.
Browse and Buy
Ideally we'd prefer you use the website when purchasing items, and as an added incentive, this is where you'll get the best discount.
However, if you do want to visit the store, you can. You may occasionally get lucky and find some new product not yet on the website. Mark is notoriously slow when it comes to the website, so new items will usually sit on the shelves for a while until Skye starts making pointed comments.
